Using mass email programs to make your campaigns extremely productive and easy to manage

So, you've started building a great opt-in list to which you want to send regular emails. OR you've collected a great database for targeting your next campaign.

You would like to have a kind of bulk email sending software that can send to the whole list with a single click - at the same time addressing each person on your database INDIVIDUALLY. That would make him think that you've written exclusively to him - a great way to increase the odds of a possible sale.

You would obviously want to be tracking sent mail. I mean you don't want to be making a shot in the dark. Did he read your mail? Did he click on your promotional link? Finally, did he actually buy? Imagine the power of being able to do all this on your screen so that you can actually evaluate your campaign.

Your bulk email sending software should be able to handling bad and bounced mails. Anyone, who has even a moderate list volume, will tell you what a headache bounced or bad mails can pose while doing a campaign. So, your mass email programs must be able to drop off the bad email Ids automatically at the first instance so that your mail server is not clogged up with mails angrily bouncing back at you. Moreover, if at all mails do bounce because of other reasons, your mail program should again automatically separate them from your main list keeping it clean at all times. What's more you may like to try sending to these "so called" bounced email addresses a few times before deciding to bump them off - your mass email program should be able to handle that.

Unsubscribe requests: No matter how hard you try you are going to get unsubscribe requests to your newsletters - you just can't please everybody. Getting unsubscribe requests is bad enough; what's worse is having to remove each and every one manually from your list. Obviously, your bulk email sending software should be able to handle these requests automatically and keep your list clean.

Everybody knows how increasingly difficult it is becoming to do bulk mail campaigns of your hosting ISPs. People are far too cautious because of tough anti-spam laws. As a genuine marketer, you should be able to send these bulk mails from your localhost ISP end. For this, your mailing program should be configurable on your "internet-connected" PC. What this means is that you should be able to do your bulk mailing from any PC, anywhere. All you need is an internet connection. Most importantly, it should be extremely easy to set up - no complicated procedures involved.

Your bulk email sending program should be versatile so that it can read your database no matter in what format and wherever you store it - whether it is in a simple text format or in MS-Access or even if it is on advanced databases such as SQL. Either way, your mass email program should be compatible to read from all such tables wherever they are stored on your computer.
